Sir James Alexander Dunbar (3rd Bart of Boath)

     Sir James Alexander Dunbar (3rd Bart of Boath) was born on 21 June 1821 in Boath, Auldearn, Nairnshire. He was the second son and succeeded his brother in 1851, He was educated at the Naval College, Portsmouth; entered the Navy in 1834; became a Lt in 1842 and a commander in 1854; appointed Dep Lt of Nairn in 182. He was the son of Sir James Dunbar 1st Bart of Boath and Helen Coull.
     Sir James Alexander Dunbar (3rd Bart of Boath) married Louisa Pemble Parsons in 1854 in Stoke church, Devonport, Devon. On the 3rd inst, Sir James Alexander Dunbar, Bart, R N, of Boath, Nairnshire, to Louisa Pemble, third daughter of the late Lieutanant Colone Parson, CMG.
     James died on 7 October 1883 in Auldearn, Nairnshire, aged 62. The Baronetcy became extinct in 1937 on the death of the 5th Baron, Sir Frederick George Dunbar, son of Sir Aleander James Dunbar (1870-1900). He was buried in Auldearn, Nairnshire. His gravestone states: Sacred to the memory of Sir James A Dunbar, Bart of Boath. Born 21 Jun 1821; died 7 Oct 1883 ...

     Louisa Pemble Parsons was born on 17 December 1829.
     Louisa Pemble Parsons married Sir James Alexander Dunbar (3rd Bart of Boath), son of Sir James Dunbar 1st Bart of Boath and Helen Coull, in 1854 in Stoke church, Devonport, Devon. On the 3rd inst, Sir James Alexander Dunbar, Bart, R N, of Boath, Nairnshire, to Louisa Pemble, third daughter of the late Lieutanant Colone Parson, CMG.
     Louisa died on 19 December 1911 in Nairnshire, aged 82. She was buried at Auldearn and her name was given as Louis Pemple.

     Sir Archibald Dunbar 7th Bart of Northfield was born on 5 July 1803 in 'Duffus House', Duffus, Moray. He succeeded in 1847 (1817??). He was the son of Sir Archibald Dunbar 6th Bart of Northfield and Helen Gordon Cumming.
     Sir Archibald Dunbar 7th Bart of Northfield married Keith Alicia Ramsay on 12 June 1827 in Duffus, Moray. He is also listed on the 1st June in Edinburgh and the 15 June in Cramond, Midlothian.
     Sir Archibald Dunbar 7th Bart of Northfield married secondly Sophia Orred on 5 November 1840 in St Oswald, Chester, Cheshire, England. He was widowed, and son of Archibald Daunbar, she was the daughter of George Orred.
