     George died on 11 February 1906 in Devon North, Victoria, aged 69. He died of heart failure, being found dead in the paddock where he went threshing peas. He was buried on 13 February 1906 in the Church of England section, Alberton.
     His will was proved on 22 March 1906 at Victoria. George Bullett, late of the parish of Devon in Victoria, farmer. His estate was valued at £2000.      James Cocksedge, Isaac Nunn, George Bullet, William Bullet, Amos Green, William Groom, labourers were charged with riotously and disorderly assembly on May 23rd in the yard of Hesset Bells.
James Tiffin, farmer of Hesset, said he heard a great noise in the yard, they were found making a great noise, the landlord endeavoured to get them to keep quiet, he then sent for John Burrows the parish constable.
They left when Burrows appeared, whilst they were dispersing the Rev Blake came into the yard and complained. Dismissed.
I am not sure which of the three contemporary Georges this applies to, nor the others.

     He was a novelist, essayist, short story writer, critic and poet. He wrote both supernatural fiction and some children's literature. He was born in London, and educated at Jesus College, Cambridge. During World War II he worked for the BBC in London, and after it was a radio broadcaster.
     Gerald died in 1958.

     Harriet Bullett was recorded on the 1851 census in Groom Farm, Hessett. Harriett Bullett, servant, unmarried 19, general servant, born Hessett in the household of Mary Groom widow, farmer of 105 acres employing 9 men, and her family.
     Harriet Bullett married Abraham Bland, son of William Bland and Elizabeth Cocksedge, on 23 October 1852 in Hessett.
     Harriet Bullett and Abraham Bland arrived per "Star of the South" on 5 August 1857 at Victoria, Australia. Abraham & his family sailed from Liverpool April 24 1857 as assisted immigrants and arrived at Hobsons Bay Melbourne on August 5 1857. Abraham was described as a 25 year old labourer of Suffolk, religion - Church of England, able to read only. Harriet was 25 and could read & write. Eliza Ann was 4 and William an infant. The ship was quarantined. They took passage by the steamer "Thistle" (which was wrecked in 1859) to Yarram arriving there on Aug 10th. Their 'disposal' was to J Carpenter of Yarram on Aug 12, wages being £52 p.a. the term 12 months. Mr Carpenter was a sawmiller and contractor and operated a flour and saw mill adjacent to the Tarra River in Yarram, or the Barkly Township as it was called by Carpenter. He worked for Carpenter for 7 years and then rented the Aylesbury property from him for 4 years before purchasing it.
Newspaper reports states that there was little work in Melbourne for the new immigrants.
     Another Abraham Bland, aged 37, an English labourer from Adelaide arrived in Melbourne in February 1852 aboard the Charlotte Jane.
     On 3 May 1866, Harriett Bland paid into the immigration deposit account for the passage of her brother George Bullett and his wife Mary Ann & their daughter Annie aged 3, to Victoria.
     On 10 January 1867, Harriet Bland paid into the Immigration Deposit account - £8 for William Cocksedge and £2 each for Edward [Emma??] Cocksedge & Charlotte Cocksedge.
     In Abraham Bland's will dated 15 July 1896 in Yarram, Victoria, Harriet Bullett was named as heir and executrix of the estate. She was an executor of Abraham Bland's estate on 4 February 1898.
     Harriet Bullett made a will dated 12 June 1907 in Victoria.
     Harriett gave land to the Wesley church £480/10/6. Joan Graham lived in the old parsonage when the church was demolished. The parsonage was a replica of 'Aylesbury'. Mrs Wood was the author of the Wesley church history.
     Harriet died BLAND.- On the 23rd December, at 'Thurston', Yarram Yarram, Harriett, relict of the late Abraham Bland, of 'Aylesbury', Yarram Yarram; beloved mother of Mrs. C. Rout, Kew; Mrs. R. Williams, Hawthorn; Mrs. R. W. Gibson, Perth; Mrs. G. Ruby, Balloong, and William George and James Bland, aged 77 years. Interred in Alberton Ceme- tery, 25th December. on 23 December 1909 in 'Thurston', Yarram, Victoria, Australia, aged 76. She was buried on 24 December 1909 in the Church of England section, Alberton.
     Her will was proved on 8 March 1910 at Victoria. Her real estate was valued at £1200 and personal estate at £2324.

     Harriet Bullett was born on 7 April 1807 in Wattisham, Suffolk. She was the daughter of Thomas Bullett and Elizabeth Squirrell. Harriet Bullett was christened on 5 August 1810 in Wattisham.      
Harriet Bullett claimed settlement in September 1825 from Hessett, Suffolk. 1825 Quarter sessions dispute between Hessett & Wattisham parishes re the settlement of Harriett Bullett singlewoman. Hessett appealed against an order dated Aug 31 1825 removing her from Wattisham to Hessett. (Her first daughter Maria was baptised Nov 6 1825 at Hessett) She was probably able to claim settlement in Hessett as it was her father's place of legal settlement despite being born in Wattisham. She witnessed Samuel Fox and Maria Bullett's wedding on 10 June 1828 in Wattisham, Suffolk. Harriet Bullett witnessed James Squirrell Bullett and Sarah A Grimwood's wedding on 29 October 1832 in Wattisham, Suffolk.
     Harriet Bullett married William Howe on 5 November 1833 in Wattisham, Suffolk. They were both single, of Monks Eleigh, witnessed by Thomas & Elizabeth Bullett.
     Harriet Bullett and William Howe appeared on the 1841 census in Highfield Farm, Monks Eleigh, Suffolk. Wm Howe 32, Harriett 35, William 7, Eliza 5, John 2, Elizabeth Bullett 9. Her daughter Maria (aged 15) appears to be living with her grandmother Elizabeth in Wattisham.
     Harriet Bullett and William Howe were recorded on the 1851 census in Tye Farm House, Monks Eleigh, Suffolk. Wm Howe, 41, born Glemsford, Harriett wife 44, born Wattisham, Wm son 17 b. Monks Eleigh, John 12 M.E., Harriett 4, born M.E. Her second daughter was probably the daughter of John Gullen alias Parker who is mentioned in the registers.
