     In Richard Cocksedge's will dated 15 August 1618 in Rougham, Thomas Cocksedge was named as heir; The will of Richard Cocksedge, yeoman of Rougham, mentions his sons Edmund Cocksedge, Thomas Cocksedge, Robert Cocksedge and his wife Barbary.
     Thomas Cocksedge married Thomasine Johnson on 17 May 1624 in Rougham, Suffolk. Thomas Cocksedge was widowed before 2 March 1624/25 on the death of his wife Thomasine Johnson.
     Thomas Cocksedge married Frances Jevies on 10 June 1628 in Norton, Suffolk.
     There are no Thomas Cocksedges listed in the 1638 militia list but he would be too young.

In the Drinkstone transcripts there is a burial for Cosine?? w. William Coxsi.. ... 27 Dec 1626, but the original was poor and so is the transcription! Again he would be too young.

There was a Luke Coxhedge listed at Drinkstone in 1638 and a churchwarden there in 1640. They was a churchwarden in Drinkstone, between 1662/63 and 1668.
     Thomas Cocksedge was mentioned in the 1674 hearth tax list in Drinkstone. There was one Thomas Cocksedge at Drinkstone with 6 hearths.

He gives 40 shillings to the poor of Stowlangtoft and mentions his son-in-law Thomas Garnham and Bridget his wife, my daughter ...
On the 11 Nov 1727 he adds: whereas it may please God that I might die seized of some copyhold land not surrendered to the uses of my will which may fall to my son Abraham by custom of the manor....
