     In Baldwin Cocksedge's will dated 18 March 1467/68 in Felsham, John Cocksedge was named as heir; The will of Baldwin Coksedge, gentleman of Felsham mentions Katherine Cocksedge "moniali"(nun?) de Redyngfield, Margaret Cocksedge "sorori" (sister), wife Dionisia/Denyse, son John, son George, daughter Margerie, Robert, son of John Cocksedge, son Edmund Cocksedge (executor). He mentions his place Upwood Hall, otherise called Coksedgys, in Felsham which his wife is to have part with son John, place Geernys to go to son Edmund after his wife's decease. Other property to go to son George after her decease, daughter Anneys to have Mekyll Southfield.
     John Cocksedge lived at Upwood Hall, Felsham.
     John Cocksedge made a will dated 5 January 1506/7 in Felsham. Not yet transcribed.

     In Baldwin Cocksedge's will dated 18 March 1467/68 in Felsham, Edmund Cocksedge was named as executor and an heir of the estate. He was appointed supervisor of the will of George Cocksedge proved 5 April 1503.
