     Robert Cocksedge was christened on 26 May 1805 in Pakenham, Suffolk. This is probably not his baptism as his marriage suggests he was over 21 in 1823. He was the son of John Cocksedge and Sarah Osburn. Robert Cocksedge was mentioned in a bastardy bond dated 12 February 1822 in Wyverstone. Bastardy maintenance order: Robert Cocksedge of Badwell Ash, labourer, for female bastard child of Mary Alexander.
     Robert Cocksedge married Mary Alexander on 11 November 1823 in Wyverstone, Suffolk.
