Edward George Noakes

(March 1874 - )
Edward George Noakes's birth was registered in the quarter ending in March 1874 in Brighton, Sussex. He was the son of Richard Noakes and Mary Emma Vinall.
Richard Noakes wrote in August 2007: I have been unable to trace Maude Annie forward from 1872 and 1875 - except for the 1881 census where she appears in the household of Edward Lyon Hill, Walcot, Nr Bath, England. I am very certain of this as her brother Edward George Noakes has a great grandson, who I have been in contact with, living in Virginia. He has indicated that Edward George's adoptive father/guardian was surnamed Hill - so too many coincidences to ignore !! I also have not been able to trace Edward George between the years of 1874 (birth) until 1901/1902 marriage in New York.
