     Elias matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, on 3 November 1823. Elias Handcock, Pensioner (educ. by his father) 3 Nov 1823 aged 19, son of Thomas, clericus, b. Wexford. B.A. 1830.
     The Waterford mail on 5 Oct ber 1833 rported: The Lord Bishp of Ferns in his tour of inspection, visited the church of Ballyhack, on Thursday last, adnwas received gy the Rev Elias Handock the present curate.
He resigned the curacy of Ballyhack and the chaplaincy oof Duncannon in January 1834..
     Rev Elias Handcock married Roberta Arthur on 27 February 1838 in St Peter, Dublin. He was of Stradbally and she was of 30 Lower Mount St. Witnesses were G D Handcock and Arthur Benedick.      
Rev Elias Handcock paid the Griffith Valuation & was listed in the main street in the 1850s in Stradbally, Laois, Ireland. Elias Elias Handcock, presented by R S Baron Carew, March 2 1858, instituted March 10 (Diocesan Records). Son of Rev Thomas Handcock, born in Wexford, educated by his father, entered TCD Nov 23 1823, aged 19, BA 1830. Ordained deacon 1832, Curate Stradbally 1835-1858 at Dysert Enos, (Maryborough), Laois, in 1858.

     Elias died on 18 April 1870 in Kilteale or Kilteile or Kiltaile (Maryborough), Mountmellick RD, Offaly or Laois, Ireland, aged 66.
     His will was proved on 1 June 1870 at the Principal Probate Registry, London. The will of the Rev Elias Handcock, late of Kiltaile Glebe, Kings co., clerk who died 18 April 1870 at same. PPR by oath of Roberta Handcock of same near Stradbally, widow, the sole executrix. Good under £200.

     Rev Elias Handcock lived at Meath, 1754. Elias was Rector at Kilnafed, Cavan.
     Rev Elias Handcock made a will dated 11 May 1767. He mentioned his wife Catherine Handcock and brother John Chaigneau. Elias was curate at Athlone, Westmeath/Roscommon, in 1768. He was also Master of the Endowed School there. Elias was Rector at Clonfadforan, Meath, between 1768 and 1771.

     Gustavus died on 4 September 1751 in Waterstown, Westmeath, Ireland, aged 58. To the memory of Gustavus Handcock, late of Waterstown in the county of Westmeath Esq who died 4th Sepr 1751. Aged fifty eight. Lamented by all who knew his virtues. He was humane, friendly and religious, an active and impartial magistrate. His conduct in Parliament was directed by love of his country, which was constant and sincere. A kind husband and tender father of a lovely daughter Katherine, who died 5th April 1746 aged sixteen, and of a son Robert, who shewed in his conduct ther fruit of an early and pious education. In him revived his Father's virtues. The favour of youth was tempered by the sense of age. He was exemplary to the young, Honoured and beloved by the aged and experienced. But he was scarcely seen and admired until he was summoned to the Happiness he aspired. He died in the 24th year of his age, anno 1754. This monument was erected to their remains by Elizabeth Handcock, widow and mother to these once dear and now Lamented Persons. AD 1759. He was buried in St Mary's Church of Ireland, Athlone, Westmeath/Roscommon, Ireland.
     The administration of his estate was granted in 1751 at the Prerogative Court of Armagh, Ireland.

     Gustavus Frederick Handcock was born circa 1847. He was the son of Gustavus Drake Handcock and Augusta Georgina Montfort.
     In 1861 he was at a school in Ashton-under-Lyme, Lancashire, then in 1881 he was a copying clerk living in Paddington. On 16 July 1884 he married Lucy Elizabeth Domoney at St Jude’s church, East Brixton, London. Gustavus and Lucy had one son, Gustavus Forbes MacMahon, who was baptised in St Luke’s Church, Chelsea on 14 August 1885. It is believed he died young because no reference has been found to him after 1891. There is no mention of him in the 1901 census. Lucy died in Wandsworth, London, in June 1904.
     Peggy Handcock wrote: He married Lucy Demony, the daughter of a lawyer in Chelsea.

     Hannah Handcock married Melchior Guy Dickens as his second wife, on 6 February 1721/22 in St John, Dublin, Ireland. Melchior Guydickens of parish of St John's Dublin Esq. & Hannah Handcock, of the same parish, spinster.
In the same year, there is a document:
Release 1722 Melchior Dicken to Gustavus Handcock & George Rochfort Athlone & Grantstown 22 577
now held by the Genealogical Society of Ireland among the Laois papers. Crowe states that he eloped with and married the Dean's 15 year old daughter.
The ms index to the Marriage Licence Bonds gives Guy, Dickens Melchior and Hamilton, Hannah.
     Hannah died on 20 October 1752 in Blockley, Worcestershire/Gloucester, England. There is a memorial in Blockley church: In memory of Hannah, the wife of Melchior Guy Dickens, Esq. who died Oct 20 1752 aged 46. And of Frederick William Guy Dickens, clerk, who died September 15, 1779 aged 50.

     Henry died on 18 December 1858 in India. A memorial inscription at Athlone reads: To the memory of the Honble. Henry Handcock, Captain in the 44th Regt., third son of Richard, third Baron Castlemaine, who died from the effects of injuries received from a tiger at Baudipore, in the East Indies, on the 16th of Decr. 1858, in the 25th year of his age. This tablet is placed by his brother officers in recollection of his manly character and engaging dispotiion, and in sorrow for his untimely end.      Henry died on 8 September 1855 in Sebastopol, Ukraine. A memrorial at Athlone states: Sacred to the memory of the Honble. Henry Robert Handcock Late Lieut. Colonel
