     Ian Charles Jennings was born on 11 September 1954 in Calvary Hospital, North Adelaide, South Australia. He was the son of Helen Chibnall B.Sc. Ian Charles Jennings was christened on 4 March 1956 in Crafers, South Australia.
     Ian died on 6 July 1998 in Modbury Hospital, South Australia, aged 43. He was cremated at Centennial Park after a church service in the Chapel at the Strathmont Centre. Ian was greatly incapacitated both physically and mentally all of his life. He was given a bed initially at the Northfield Hospital when he was about 3 and spent most of his life in the Strathmont Centre.

Joseph Jennings married Martha Darby, daughter of George Darby and Martha Bickley, on 28 August 1798 in St Andrew's, Enfield, Middlesex. They were both single of this parish, signed Joseph Jennings & Martha Darby in the presence of John Jennings & Alexr Young.
Joseph Jennings and George Darby Bickley were listed in a directory dated between 1808 and 1810 as Darby, Jennings & Co at Gt Warren Street, Coldbath Fields, London. George Darby left the goodwill of his business and a box containing his recipe for making annatto to his children Mary & George. In 1809 & 1810 Darby, Jennings & Co. are listed as Annatto & Sealing wax manufacturers at Great Warren St, Coldbath Fields.
     Joseph died on 9 December 1842? In Bunhill Fields, London, England. A Joseph Jennings was buried 13 or 9 Dec 1842 in the Dissenters Burial Ground, aged 57 (=b c. 1785). However if this age is correct he if very unlikedly to be the one married who Martha Darby Bickley as he would only be 13. There was a Joseph with similar age living with Charlotte (Evett) & children in the 1841 census at that address; they married on 30 Apr1826 at St SAnn & S Agnes, Aldersgate. both claiming to be single..
