William Marlott

     William Marlott was christened on 25 April 1590 in Muntham, Itchingfield, Sussex. He was the son of Thomas Marlott and Rose Rivett. William Marlott was the heir of Thomas Marlott at the Inquisition Post Mortem held in Sussex, England, on 9 May 1594. His son and heir William was aged 4 years on 17 April 1594 at his father's inquisition P M.
     Faith Killingworth married secondly William Marlott on 5 August 1619 in St Mary Magdalene, Old Fish Street, London. She was described as Faithe Newman, widow. Their marriage settlement dated 4 August 1619, described her as daughter of John Killingworth of London and relict of ... Newman.
     William Marlott made a will dated 17 August 1652 in Itchingfield, Sussex. Thomas Poole was one of the overseers of the will of his father-in-law, William Merlott, proved 17 May 1653, in which the testator refers to "my lining at Shoreham in ye cheste in ye possession of my sonne Poole."
     William died before 17 May 1653 in Itchingfield, SSX.
     His will was proved on 17 May 1653 at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.

     William Marlott married Emma atte Hurst before 1378. She was named in deeds in 1378.
     William died circa 1379 in Thakeham, Sussex. He was named in deeds 1375 and 1378. Dead in Thankenham Court Rolls 1379.
