     Frederick Charles William Payne was born on 25 September 1915 in Potton, Bedfordshire. He could equally be the son of Richard, but the name suggests Frederick. He was the son of Frederick John Legh Halahan and Unknown Payne.
     Frederick died of acute pulmonary odema & congestive heart failure on 24 March 2009 in Lister Hospital, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, aged 93. Frederick Payne, brewery worker, widower, of Abbotsbury Nursing Homes, Mead End, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Born 24 Sep 1915 at Potton Bedfordshire.

For the better security of these payments, he had sold unto the said Deborah Hilton 5 negroes and 2 acres of land in the parish of St Philip bounding on the lands of the said George Ashby.
