     Luke Bland was named in the militia list taken between 1781 and 1782 in Suffolk. Pte Luke Bland was discharged from Capt Munnings company in the Suffolk East militia on 26 June 1782. Luke was buried 23 Nov 1779! His son Luke was only 12 years old when he died in March 1782, surely too young for the militia?.
