     Henry Frederick Courtney or Handy was also known as Handy in records. He was christened on 1 January 1758 in St Catherine, Dublin. He was the son of (?) Courtney and Mary Handy.
     In Mary Handy's will dated 13 May 1765 in Dublin, Henry Frederick Courtney or Handy was named as heir; Attested copy of the will of Mrs Mary Handy: I Mary Handy of Dublin, daughter of Thomas Handy, late of same city, merchant, deceased .... to my cousin Samuel Handy my silver jug, & my mourning gold ring

     Cecil died on 21 January 1951 in Higaturu, New Guinea. On Sunday 21 January 1951 Mt Lamington exploded, killing more than 3,500 Orokaivan people in 29 villages and 35 expatriates stationed at Martyrs' Memorial School, Sangara Anglican Mission and Higaturu Government Station. He was the District Commissioner.

     Frank Cowley married Kate Isobel Phillips, daughter of William Thomas Phillips and Mary Anne Lyons, on 17 August 1871 in the Presbyterian Manse, Brisbane, Queensland. Her marriage certificate stated that she was the daughter of William Phillips, gentleman, and born in Sydney. There was a correction in the margin, signed by Frank Cowley, stating that she was born at Bona Vista, Paterson River district.
Dell Cowley states that Frank Cowley apparently left Kate Isobel in the late 1880s.
     Frank died in 1907? In Springwood district, New South Wales. Son of Jesse & Ann therefore not the right age, this is probably the Frank C who was born in 1872 in the Paddington district.

A E David, Chaplain to the Bishop, Lewis Jesse, eldest son of Jesse Cowley, of Fairford, Sydney, to Isabel, fourth daughter of the Hon M Hume Black, MLA, of Mackay No cards. Her sister married on the same day.
     He was mentioned in a newspaper account in 1924 and his death was registered in that year.
     Lewis died on 14 April 1924 in 'Loretto', Seymour St, Drummoyne, New South Wales.
