Henry Ball, head 39, victualler, born St James Mdx, his wife Eleanor aged 28, born St Martins, Mdx and children Eleanor S aged 9, born Marylebone, Henry T 7, born Marylebone, Elizabeth 5, born Marylebone, William 4, born Westminster, Emily 2, born Fulham; plus Elizabeth M Moss, sister in law, unmarried, aged 25, Barmaid, born St Ann's Mdx, Louisa Foster, niece, 16, born Marylebone and 2 servants.
     Louisa died on 12 February 1882 aged 47. She was a children's nurse -Bodenham Road Hereford. Joan was able to track her through the various census's to Croydon, Sussex and Hereford.

      Letters from a Stephen Fouace dated April 1697 to Sir Edmund Andros re College accounts are held in the Public Record office, with photocopies in the John D Rockefeller Jr Library Special Collections section. Presumably the same man was: Stephen Fouace who came from England in 1688, returned and died there in 1702, mentioend in Colonial churches in the original colony of Virginia. He was Rector of York-Hampton.
Stepehn Fouace (Fovate), clerk & Charles Fouace (Fovate) were listed in the Denizations roll from State Papers Domestic, on April 9, 1687.
Stephen is also mentioned in State Papers, Colonial v. 22 1704-5: 271. Affidavit of Stephen Fouace. Gives evidence of Governor Nicholson's violent abuse of Col. His mother may be the Lydia Fouace, widow, whose will was proved in the PCA in 1741.

     His will was proved in 1791 at the Prerogative Court of Armagh, Ireland.
