Another page gives 22nd of the 2nd month 1652. Betham suggests he is the brother of John Handy of Kilbeg whose will was dated 24 Feb 1711 and therefore the son of Jonathan Handy. He was the son of Thomas Handy and Elizabeth Sain(s) / Saim.

     Thomas Handy was mentioned in a deed dated 13 May 1753 in Dublin. Thomas Handy, Yeoman, Coolylough, Westmeath, assignment.
     Thomas died on 10 July 1754 in Dublin, Ireland, aged 70.
     His will was proved on 10 July 1754 at the Prerogative Court of Armagh, Ireland. Thomas Handy, late of co. Wexford, left by his last will and testament the sum of £150 to be placed at interest & the interest to be applied for the purpose of putting poor children apprentice & 2/3 for the mens meeting of Dublin, 1/3 to the mens meeting of Wexford. This sum was for a time placed with John Dawson Coates but was afterwards repaid by him. Probate was granted to the executors Handy & Strettle being affirmed as Quakers.

     Thomas died before 4 December 1688 in Newcastle, Tikillin Wexford. 1688, Thomas Handy the elder, deceased in ... he was convinced of truth & bore a good testimony for it amongst his neighbours, being a peaceable man & one that was for making & preserving peace amongst them. He was kind & loving to Friends & bore a faithful testimony agst Tythes by suffering a long imprisonment: and all though he might not appear much at our province meetings yet he was a concerned man amongst us for the prosperity of truth. He deaprted this life in the year 1688. Another page gives Thomas Handy, senr, 1688, husband of Elizabeth.
