     Wesley died on 5 April 2007 in St Mary's hospital, Reno, Nevada, USA, aged 85. Wesley Dawson Handy, 85, passed away on April 5, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital, after a short battle with heart disease. He was born to William and Bessie Handy on August 23, 1921 on the Lady Jane Ranch in Grass Valley, CA. As a young man he worked on The Lady Jane and Forbes Ranches herding cattle over Donner Summit into Sierra Valley for summer grazing. At the age of 18 he began working for Pacific Telephone as a Lineman. In WWII he joined the Navy, where he served as a fireman on a U.S. Destroyer. After the war, he returned to work for Nevada Bell building the first telephone pole lines into Cortez, Carlin and Current Creek, NV where he became the open wire specialist for Nevada. On September 16, 1950, he married Evelyn Tonkin from Austin, NV. He retired from AT&T, as a Construction Foreman after 42 years of service. After retiring, he kept himself busy working for The Sparks Tribune and helping friends and neighbors in their yards, as he so enjoyed the outdoors. Dad's sensational smile, warm heart and twinkling eyes will forever be remembered. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sisters Blanche Johnson and Nell Poor and his brothers William Handy and Joseph Handy. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, son, Larry, daughter-in-law Christine of Reno, granddaughters Sherrie (Nathan) Moore of Sparks, Julie (Benjamin) Kerns of Boise, ID, great-grandson Andrew Dawson Moore of Sparks, and sister, Marge Henson of Asheville, NC. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, 5-8 p.m. at Walton's Funeral Home, 875 W. 2nd Street, Reno. Graveside Funeral will be held on Thursday, April 12, at 11 a.m., at the Masonic Memorial Gardens, 437 Stoker Ave, Reno. It was between the following: Rev Thomas Orme Fetherston H of Moyne Glebe, Godfrey Fetherston H of Ballinderry, William Handy of Plumbstead, Joseph Hacket (he seems to sign Hackett) of Bracca Castle, Westmeath. Large possibly vellum document measuring when unfolded approx 15"x 20" six sides of text plus plan. The cover has a blemish which does not affect the interior and seems to be within the original parchment. Grubby and dusty commensurate with its' years.
Seems to relate to part of an area of Westmeath, Ireland called and being part of Bracca Castle, Coolelough and Braccareagh situate and lying in the Barony of Moycashel, County Westmeath, Ireland and shown on the included plan amounting to something well over 250 English Acres. Detailed document giving Covenants, easements etc..
