     Edith Harriet Parrott was born in 1897 Jill Fenwick wrote: Edith Harriet was my grandmother. She married Lindsay Gordon Furnell in 1919 and they lived at Foster until 1936, when they moved to Warragul, 1937 to Colac, and 1942 to Portland. He was a replacement postal official, a very good sportsman and very engaged in community affairs in Portland. They later divorced and in 1958, my grandmother moved to Malvern South, so she could be looked after by her daughter.
They had four children:

All three of Robert's younger sons enlisted for World War 1. Oliver didn't get to the war, but was ill before embarkation. Stan survived and came home. Alf won the Military Medal, for taking over a horse convoy carrying supplies to the troops after the officer in charge was killed by a shell. His own wagon was stuck in the shellhole, but he managed to get it out and took charge of the whole convoy bringing it safely through. He died in a flood in Gippsland, aged 43 - see Trove.. She was the daughter of Robert Josiah Parrott and May Levina Clark.
     Edith died in 1992.

     Grace died She was registered as Grace Levina Coxedge and her cemetery plaque reads: Grace Lavina Coxedge, 13 May 1886 - 8 Dec 1965. on 8 December 1965 in Yarram, Victoria, aged 81.
     Her will was proved on 19 April 1966 at Victoria.

She came to Gippsland to join her husband after his return from the Snowy River diggings abaout 40 years before her death in 1901.
     Robert Parrott travelled to Melbourne, Victoria, on 6 September 1852 per the "on the '"Rattler" from Launceston. It stated that he had arrivin the colony on the Marion and he was free by servitude.".
     Robert died in 1898? In Victoria. A Robert Parrott, aged 72, parents unknown, died at Sale in 1898.
