     Charlotte Stuart married Charles John Canning Earl, KG GCB, son of George Canning and Joan Scott, on 5 September 1835 in St Martin in the Fields, Westminster, Middlesex, England. They had no issue.
     Charlotte died on 18 November 1861 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India, aged 44. She was buried on 19 November 1861 in Barrackpore, West Bengal, Bengal Presidency, India.

     Elizabeth Stuart was born in 1825 in Eskimore, Braes of Glenlivet, Inveravon, Banffshire, Scotland.
     Elizabeth Stuart married Peter MacPherson, son of Alexander MacPherson and Anne Grant, on 9 December 1847 in Kirkmichael, Banffshire, Scotland. Peter Mcpherson, res. at Ballinbone & Eliz Stuart res. at Mains of Inverourie, both of this parish.
     Elizabeth Stuart was also reported as having married Peter MacPherson, son of Alexander MacPherson and Anne Grant, on 15 December 1847 in Enzie, Rathven, Banffshire, Scotland. The marriage was proclaimed at Kirkmichael on 9 December 1847. He was of Ballinloan and she was of Maines of Inverourie, Kirkmichael, but one of the children's birth certificate states that they married at Enzie. Their children were baptised at the RC chapel in the Braes of Glenlivet. They then moved to New Spynie by 1852 then to Orbliston in the parish of Speymouth by 1856. In 1858 they were at Blackhills in the parish of Elgin. All the children were baptised as Catholics, but he was described as a Protestant in 1861. By 1865 they were living at Rothes.
     Elizabeth Stuart and Peter MacPherson were recorded on the 1851 census in Seatown Rd, Port Tannachy, Rathven, Banffshire. Peter McPherson, 31, blacksmith, and in place of birth it had N.K. His wife was Betty aged 27 and born in Inveravon and the children were Penelopy (sic) aged 2 and William aged 1.

     Second son, brought up in France. He did homage for the seigneurie of Aubigny to Henry IV 8 Apr 1600. On 7 June 1619 he was created earl of March. On 16 Feb 1623/4 he succeeded his elder brother as Duke of Lennox. [Cokayne]
. Esme Stuart 3rd Duke of Lennox was also known as Esme Stewart Lennox in records. He was born on 29 September 1574. He was the son of Esme Stewart Duke of Lennox and Catherine de Balsac.
     Esme Stuart 3rd Duke of Lennox married Catherine Clifton Dowager Duchess of Lennox.

     George Stuart Lord Aubigny was born on 17 July 1618 in Bath House, Holborn, London or Middlesex, England. Next brother of Henry, third son?. He was the son of Esme Stuart 3rd Duke of Lennox and Catherine Clifton Dowager Duchess of Lennox.
     He was educated at Paris. He did homage for the Seigneurie of Aubigny to Louis XIII, 5 August 1636.
     George Stuart Lord Aubigny married Katherine Howard in 1638. They married secretly.
     George died on 23 October 1642 in Kineton, Warwickshire, aged 24. He was slain at the Battle of Edgehill. He was buried in Christ Church cathedral, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.
     The administration of his estate was granted 8 June 1647, etc.
