This is the last will and testament of me William Aust of Stoke Newington in the county of Middlesex Gentleman I will and direct that all my just Debts and Funeral Expenses shall be in the first place fully paid and satisfied as soon as convienently maybe after my decease I give and devise my Copyhold House and Garden with the appurtenances thereto belonging situate in Church Street and hold of the Lord of the Manor of Stoke Newington now in the occupation of Doctor Aiken in which I have already surrended to the use of my Will unto and to the use of my Dear Wife Sarah Aust for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the same unto and to use of my Brother Richard Aust of Lambs Conduit Passage in the Parish of Saint George the Martyr in the county of Middlesex and to his heirs and assigns for ever ... bequeath the rents and profits of all my leasehold houses and property and the ... dividends and annual produce of all my ... money for Money stock in the Public Funds and the use and enjoyment of all my household Furniture and all other my Goods Chattles and Personal Estate and Effects what so ever and wheresoever unto my said dear wife Sarah Aust for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I will and direct that all my said Leasehold Houses and Property shall be sold and the Money due on the said securities collected and that the ... together with the capital of all other my Personal Estate shall be divided into two equal moieties or half parts one of which moieties or halve parts I give and bequeath unto my said brother Richard Aust and sister Ann the wife of George Stanser of Esher in the County of Surrey in Equal half parts but in case of the death of either of them in the life time of myself or my said wife the share of him or her so dying to survive or go over to his or her wife or husband or if no such wife or husband shall be then living then the share of my said Brother or Sister shall survive or go over to the other of them but if they shall all die in the lifetime of myself and my dear wife then I give the same moieties or half part of my said property and effects unto Mary the wife of Robert Stanser of Halifax in Novia Scotia or if she shall be then dead to be distributed among her children equally and as to the other moieties or half part of my said property and effects I direct that the same shall be divided in the proportions following that is to say one forth part to William Purdom son of William Purdom of the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch Cabinet Maker and Mary his wife or in case of the death of the said William Purdom the son to his children equally one other forth part to Anne Purdom of the same place spinster or in case of her death to her children equally one other fourth part to Jane Goodrich late Jane Purdom spinster or in case of her decease to her children equally and the remaining forth part equally among the children of Francis Purdom the deceased son of the said William Purdom and Mary his wife and in order to obviate any doubt which may arise in the division of the property which I have herein before given among the Family of the said William Purdom and Mary his Wife in case of death my will and meaning is that it shall continue in their family in the same manner as if it had descended from their father and mother with this exception that their daughter whom I have not named in this my will or her husband children or representives shall not take any benifit under the same and I herebye not only with the concurrance but at the express request and desire of my said dear wife ... in her will and desire that the silver watch now used by her and all her wearing apparel shall after her death become the property of the said Anne Pardon I give and bequeath unto Christian Steel now living with me if she shall be living with me at the time of my Death a Legacy of thirty Pounds and I hereby Nominate and Appoint my said dear Wife Sarah Aust and my Brother Richard Aust joint Executors of this my Will and hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made I declare this only to be my last Will and Testament

Charles D Austin
