     Francis Cocksedge was christened on 11 January 1576/77 in Thorpe Morieux, Suffolk. He is possibly the Francis Cocksedge son of John (& Frances) Cocksedge, baptized at Thorpe Morieux in 1576, but there is no proof. He was the son of John Cocksedge and Frances Unknown.
     Francis Cocksedge married Judith Wilson on 28 November 1609 in Rattlesden, Suffolk.
     Francis Cocksedge married Judith Bacon in 1623 in Suffolk.
     Francis died in January 1649 in Woolpit, Suffolk. He was buried in January 1648/49 in Woolpit. There is no evidence that this the Rattlesden man.

     Francis Cocksedge made a will dated 13 April 1731 in Dublin, Ireland. His will mentions William Cocksedge, Gent, of Dublin, reversion to Francis Cocksedge; also Owen Wynne, of Lurganboy? His arms are similar to the Suffolk armigerous family. He is mentioned as a relation of Wynne in PRONI documents.
     Francis died before 9 July 1734 in Ireland.

     Rev Francis Cocksedge BA was born circa 1676 in Lindsell, Essex. He was the son of Rev Francis Cocksedge MA and Jane Unknown.
     Francis was educated at King Edward VI Free Grammar School, Bury St Edmunds.
     Francis matriculated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, between 1693 and 1696. He was admitted sizar (aged 17) at Trinity College, Cambridge, May 17 1693. Son of Francis, Born at Lindsell, Essex. School - Bury St Edmunds. Matric 1693, scholar 1695; B.A. 1696/7. Francis was the Rector at Bacton, Suffolk, in 1702. He was ordained deacon at Norwich Feb 25 1699/1700.
     Rev Francis Cocksedge BA married Elizabeth Stinnet on 13 April 1703 in Woolpit, Suffolk.
     As the last entry for the year ending Easter 1715, a burial in woollen of Jonathan Sorr was sworn by Dorothy Bulbrooke before Mr Francis Cocksedge, Jane Cocksedge & Samuel Cocksedge in the Hessett register.
     Francis was buried on 14 November 1721 in St Mary, Bacton.

     Rev Francis Cocksedge MA was mentioned in the will of John Cocksedge dated 22 April 1692.
     Francis died on 30 November 1715 in Woolpit, Suffolk. Francis Cocksedge, Rector for 38 years, aged 66. He was buried on 3 December 1715 in Woolpit.
