William MacPherson married Isabella Forbes, daughter of James Forbes and Jane Macfarlane, on 12 October 1897 in St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Eddington, Victoria. William was a farmer in Eddington, Victoria. He was an executor of Peter MacPherson's estate on 13 December 1904.
William McPherson, a pioneer of the Eddington district lived on the borders of Eddington and Betley, and his family was well known for its philanthropic work. William McPherson and his wife Isabella, were regular worshippers at the Eddington Presbyterian church, where William was a Sunday school teacher and an elder of the church.
