     Love or Loue Sculthorpe married Sarah Silvester, daughter of Thomas Silvester and Eleanor or Ellen Unknown (Silvester), on 10 August 1679 in St James, Duke Place, London.

     Sarah Sculthorpe was born before May 1683. Her name appears in the will of her uncle John Silvester of Birthwaite, Esquire. She was the daughter of Love or Loue Sculthorpe and Sarah Silvester.
Sarah Sculthorpe married John Smith, son of John Smith and Priscilla Silvester, on 9 August 1720 in Darton, Yorkshire. She was her husband's cousin, being daughter of Miss Silvester, married to a Mr Sculthorpe ....
     Sarah died on 6 May 1725 in Normanton, Yorkshire. She was buried on 19 May 1725 in Normanton, YKS. Buried Sarah the wife of John Smith Esq of Newland.

     Unknown Sculthorpe was born before 1696. Sarah Sculthorpe's two children are mentioned in her cousin Edward's will of Nov 1696. Unknown Sculthorpe was the child of Love or Loue Sculthorpe and Sarah Silvester.

It is assumed that he is either the son of Thomas or Matthew, both of St James parish, Bury St Edmunds, who were mentioned in the 1674 Hearth tax. However a Martin Sedon had married in Cambridge in 1664 and had children in BSE. He is too old to be a brother but may be his father. The only other candidates are Martin's brothers Edward or Jeremiah.. He was the son of Martin Seadon.
