     Elisabeth MacIntosh and John Robertson appeared on the 1841 census in Colleymun Moss settlers, Port of Menteith. John Robertson, aged 35, Elizabeth aged 40, John 10, James 8, Peter 5, Duncan 2, all born in the county. In the next household in the same dwelling were Elizabeth McIntosh aged 12, female servant [presumably their pre-nuptial daughter], and David McIntosh aged 40, ag. labourer, aged 40, both also born in the county. In addition there was Duncan McDonald, aged 50, ag. labourer, not born in the county.
     Elisabeth MacIntosh and John Robertson were recorded on the 1851 census in Culnamon of Cardross, Port of Menteith, Perthshire. John Robertson, a farmer of 6 acres, was aged 47, born Perth, his wife Elisabeth 52, born Kenmore, and children Elisabeth 21, Peter 14, Duncan 12 and Jane, a grandchild aged 4 months. Their son James was at nearby farm as 17 year old farm servant.
     Elisabeth died of pleurisy on 13 November 1859 in Cubsiemoon, Port of Menteith, Perthshire, Scotland. She was described as the wife of a crofter, dying 30 November 1859 at 10 p.m. at Cubsiemoon, Port, aged 63. Her parents were listed as John MacIntosh, game keeper, deceased & Elisabeth MacIntosh, maiden name Anderson, deceased. She was buried in Port of Menteith.

     Anna Maria Mackay married Henry Brereton Hooper, son of Rev Robert Poole Hooper and Harriet Brereton, on 19 August 1891 in St Andrew's, Aberdeen, Scotland. Anna Maria Mackay was in Calcutta with her brother James (Lord Inchcape) when she met the harbour master Henry Brerton Hooper, a formr India Marine Captain. A relationship develped, but Anna's borthe disapproved of the young Hooper and did not feel he was suitable to marry his sister. However he must have sufficiently impress the ambitious businessman as they did marry and Hooper was resqard the vice-chairmanship and managing directorship of the General Steam Navigation Company, part of the Inchcape shipping empire. Their daughter Maude Lyle Hooper, known to the family as Bludebell, became a favourite cousin of Elsie's in later years..
     Anna Maria Mackay and Henry Brereton Hooper appeared on the 1911 census in 2 Cranley Place, London, Kensington. Henry Brereton Hooper 50, retired RIN Commander, born Holt, Norfolk; his wife Anna Maria Hooper 51, married 19 years, born Arbroath Scotland. Children: 2 living 1 dead. Adminstration was granted again on 19 July 1924.
