He exchanged these 2 properties for properties at Koyuga where he shifted. He then exchanged these for Foster & Amey's track. He purchased Parwin which he later exchanged with M Cock for "Oaklands" Anderson. They later he lived in Preston, then Murrumbeena followed by Hughesdale.
At Lance Creek he had a school opened in the front room of his dwellings, then he donated an acre for the Lance Creek State School to be built. He also had permission to open a Post Office, also in his dwelling, the address being Lance Creek via Kongwak. He was a councillor for the Bass & Phillip Island Shire until he moved to a drier area (Bolinda). [Elsie May Ruby, 1976]
