     Jack Evans Ruby was born on 1 June 1921 in Victoria. He was the son of Keith Evans Ruby and Ivy Wood.
     Jack served in the Army (V28894) between 1941 and 1945. His next of kin was given as Ivy Slack. He enlisted on 9 Jun 1941 at Bacchus Marsh and was discharged 29 Sep 1945 as a private in 1 Signals Traning Battalion.
     Jack was registered at St Days, PMNL, on the 1982 electoral roll.
     Jack died on 6 November 1990 in Victoria aged 69. He was buried after 6 November 1990 in Stawell.
     His will was proved on 5 December 1990 at Victoria.
