I should have been glad of the opportunity of sending you a small parcel but if you had known it I wish that you had sent to me. Don't suppose I shall ever meet with such a chance again as when John Symons went out, we hear that he is ill. Hope by this time he is got better. I think him a nice fellow. I sent you a paper some time ago with a peice of black lace in it. I should like to know if you had it.
