     Agnes Goddard made a will dated 27 March 1448. The Will of Agnes Stapilton, Widow is written in Latin. She has an enormous list of legacies to churches, friars, etc. The persons receiving bequests with the spelling as written are as follows:
"Agnes Stapilton, vidua, nuper uxor Briani Stapilton, militis. Domine Johanne Ynggelby filie mee, Matilde Wadesley, sorori mee,Willelmo Plumpton, militi, Roberto Plumpton, filio ejusdem Willelmi, Willelmo Plumpton,filio dicti Willelmi Plumpton, Margarete Darrell, Isabelle Plumpton, Agneth Plumpton, Elizabethe et Johanne Plumpton, Agneti Ynggelby, Elene Ynggelby, Katerine Yngelby, Johanni Yngelby, Isabelle Thwate, magistro Georgio Plumpton, Elizabethe Bekwyth, Domine Elizabethe Maudesley. Executores: Johannam Ynggelby, Brianum Stapilton."
     Agnes died before 1 April 1448.
     Her will was proved on 1 April 1448. Proved by Sir Brian Stapilton, with power reserved, etc.
