Bland, "Aylesbury" Yarram Yarram, South Gippsland, with Mr. R. Williams, of Laen, was solenmised at the Wesleyan Church, Yarram Yarram, on Wednesday, December 23, at 12 o'clock, by the rev. A. E. White. The church was tastefully decorated for the occasion by the bride's friends with ferns and exquisite floral designs. The bride was given away by her father, Mr. A. Bland, and looked charming attired in an elegant gown of white pongee silk ....
     Sarah resided at Hawthorn, 1910.
     Sarah died in 1952 in Murrumbeena, Victoria.

     Sarah Ann Bland appeared on the 1841 census in the household of William Bland and Benjamin Cocksedge in Hessett.
The Suffolk chronicle , Sat 8 April 1848 reported: County Petty Sessions: Wednesday. Assault; Arthur Sturge & Abraham Nunn, of Hessett, were charged with an assault upon Sarah Ann Bland. The girl stated that on Monday evening last, she was going home from school about five in the afternoon, and she reached the bridge a great many fellows were upon it. When she was going over one of the defendants took hold of her foot and threw her down; she fell and a number of the fellows with her, and when down one of them kissed her; she did not know who it was. She had been exposed to this kind of annoyance several times. The defendants were severely admonished by Mr Anderson, and informed that the next offence of this kind would would be sent to the treadmill for three months. The prosecutor then consented to their dismissal..

William Cocksedge, 40, ag. lab, with Sarahann his wife aged 36, both born at Hessett and daughter Mary E/A aged 2 months born at Chartham. Sarah Ann Bland was the informant at the death of Elizabeth Cocksedge, on 27 September 1872.
     Sarah Ann Bland and William Cocksedge arrived per "Chimborazo" in August 1882 at Victoria. The Chimborazo departed 17 June 1882 carrying William Cocksedge, clerk, 48, English, Sarah Ann Cocksedge, 44, Elizabeth 11, Priscilla 8. The voyage took 90 days with 220 passengers - J F Ruthven - master, 3847 tons.
     Sarah died of diabetes on 23 August 1898 in Yarram, Victoria, Australia, aged 64. Aged 65 with the following deceased children: Priscilla, Mary Elizabeth, Kate, Charles, William, Stella, Mabel, Annie, Mary Elizabeth aged 28. She was buried in Yarram.
