The girl stated that on Monday evening last, she was going home from school about five in the afternoon, and she reached the bridge a great many fellows were upon it. When she was going over one of the defendants took hold of her foot and threw her down; she fell and a number of the fellows with her, and when down one of them kissed her; she did not know who it was. She had been exposed to this kind of annoyance several times. The defendants were severely admonished by Mr Anderson, and informed that the next offence of this kind would would be sent to the treadmill for three months. The prosecutor then consented to their dismissal..
