     Sibyl died after 1212. She was buried in Nunappleton Priory, Yorkshire. This is very unlikely = see the Gen Medieval mailing list.

     Margaret Vans was also known as Vaus in records.
     Margaret Vans married John Dunbar, son of Archibald Dunbar, in 1568. She was the daughter of Sir Patrick Vans/Vaus of Barnbarroch.
Others suggest Margaret daughter of Sir Patrick m 1st in 1568, John Dunbar of Orchardton (son of Archibald D and Janet Mure) and m again 1570, so presumably John had died by then and as far as I know without issue. This has not yet been investigated.

     Elizabeth died on 5 May 1858 in South Rd, Adelaide, South Australia.

     Maud de Vaux was born in 1275.
     Maud de Vaux married Sir William de Ros 2nd Baron, son of Sir Robert de Ros 1st Baron and Isabel D'Aubigne, in 1287. He married Maud, younger daughter (and in 1287 coh.) of John de Vaux, son of Sir Oliver de Vaux. She probably predeceased her husband, and was buried in Pentney Priory, Norfolk, her bowels in the wall at Belvoir
With respect to Maud de Vaux, recent research has located a lawsuit dated Easter term, 1312, involving Maud's older sister, Pernel de Vaux [Reference: W.C. Bolland, Year Books of Edward II 11 (Selden Soc. 31) (1915): 209-212]. The accounts of this suit specifically mention by name Maud de Vaux and her husband, William de Roos, of Helmsley, and indicate that both Maud and her husband, William, were living in Easter term, 1312. This information is a new addition for Complete Peerage.
